  • You have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and are not using insulin injections
  • You are between 40 and 65 years old
  • Your diabetes medications have stayed the same for at least 3 months
  • You can safely do light-to-moderate exercise like stationary cycling
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding
  • You have no allergies to beetroot, lemon, or study drink ingredients
