Who can take part

  • You had your first ischemic stroke (a stroke caused by a blood clot blocking blood flow to the brain)
  • You are expected to live at least several more months (no terminal illness)
  • You can wear home sleep monitoring equipment or have help from family or healthcare staff to use it
  • You do not have severe cognitive or motor impairment that prevents you from participating, or you have reliable help from family or staff
  • You speak Swedish well enough to understand the study, or an interpreter can help you
