Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You are willing to give written permission to participate
  • You are receiving regular outpatient medical care
  • You either have no known bleeding risk OR you have a bleeding risk from blood thinners, a bleeding disorder, low platelets, or need clotting treatment
  • You can provide an extra blood sample (about 2 tablespoons) during a routine visit
