  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have been diagnosed with chronic heart failure
  • You are currently taking a daily loop diuretic (water pill) at home
  • Your heart failure is worsening and you need IV diuretics in an outpatient clinic
  • You show signs of fluid buildup (congestion) that doctors can see or measure
  • You are able to follow study procedures and give written consent
