Who can take part
- Had a stroke confirmed by CT or MRI scan at least 2 weeks ago
- Stroke affected only one side of the brain (not both sides)
- Have weakness in your hand from the stroke (not complete paralysis, but limited movement)
- Are between 30 and 75 years old
- Were right-handed before your stroke
- Can communicate and follow simple instructions during the study
- No implanted metal devices or pacemakers that would prevent MRI scans
