Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 70 years old.
- You have diabetes and your blood sugar is fairly well-controlled (HbA1c under 12%, fasting sugar under 7.0, or after-meal sugar under 10.0).
- You have a condition called lower extremity arterial disease (LEAD), meaning the arteries in your legs are narrowed or blocked, which causes pain or weakness when walking.
- A traditional Chinese medicine doctor has confirmed you have a pattern called 'Qi Deficiency and Blood Stasis' (symptoms like leg weakness, dry skin, pale tongue with teeth marks).
- You are not taking blood thinners, do not have a bleeding disorder, and are not pregnant or planning to become pregnant.
