You may qualify if you have moderate to severe gum disease with at least one bleeding pocket in each area of your mouth.

Who can take part
- You have gum disease (Periodontitis) at stage II, III, or IV.
- You have at least one gum pocket deeper than 4 mm that bleeds, in each section of your mouth.
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
- You have not had radiation or chemotherapy to your head or neck.
- You are not allergic to iodine or methylene blue.
- You have not used antibiotics in the last 30 days, do not take daily steroids or immunosuppressants, and do not have type 1 or 2 diabetes.
