Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 79 years old.
  • You have mild high blood pressure (systolic 140-159 or diastolic 90-99) and either are not on blood pressure meds or have been on one stable drug for at least 4 weeks.
  • You have had trouble sleeping for at least 3 months, with symptoms at least 3 nights a week, and your sleep difficulty score is 8 or higher.
  • You have not taken any sleeping pills or sedatives in the past month.
  • You do not have severe health problems like liver or kidney issues, certain cancers, or a history of allergies to the study drug.
