Who can take part
- You must be 18 years or older.
- You must have severe aplastic anemia that did not improve or has come back after at least 3 months of treatment with standard therapies (like ATG or cyclosporine) OR non-severe aplastic anemia that requires blood transfusions and has been treated before.
- You must agree to use effective birth control if you or your partner can become pregnant.
- You cannot have other bone marrow failure conditions like Fanconi anemia or dyskeratosis congenita, or certain blood cancers or infections.
- You cannot have had a stem cell transplant or plan to have one soon.
