Who can take part

  • You are 65 years or older
  • You need a pacemaker or defibrillator with pacing because of a slow or blocked heartbeat
  • An ultrasound shows your heart's main pumping chamber wall is thickened (12mm or more)
  • You do not have severe aortic valve narrowing
  • You have not been diagnosed with cardiac amyloidosis before
  • You are covered by French social security or equivalent
