Who can take part

  • You are 18 years old or older
  • You have been diagnosed with cardiac amyloidosis (abnormal protein in the heart)
  • You have a pacemaker already implanted
  • Your heart's left ventricle is not enlarged (thickened, not stretched)
  • Your pacemaker's electrical signal (QRS) takes less than 150 milliseconds to travel through your heart
  • You can read and speak English and provide written consent
