Who can take part

  • You are between 30 and 75 years old.
  • You have had type 2 diabetes for at least one year.
  • You are willing to sign a consent form and participate.
  • Your nerve symptoms are due to diabetes, not other causes like vitamin deficiency, alcohol, or chemotherapy.
  • You do not have serious kidney disease (eGFR below 60).
  • You do not have other conditions like muscle disease, Parkinson's, stroke, or severe mobility problems.
