Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have type 2 diabetes and diabetic foot ulcers (Wagner grade 1-3).
  • You have had moderate to severe foot pain for at least 3 months despite standard treatments like pain medicines and wound care.
  • You cannot have surgery to restore blood flow in your legs, or you still have pain after such surgery, or you choose not to have it.
  • You are able to understand the study and fill out questionnaires about your pain.
  • You do not have spine problems, bleeding disorders, serious infections, or severe heart, liver, kidney, or lung disease.
  • You aren't pregnant or breastfeeding, and you are not in another trial for similar treatments.
