Who can take part

  • You have type 2 diabetes for more than 1 year
  • You are 18 years or older
  • Your diabetic nerve pain mainly affects your lower legs/feet and has not improved with usual treatments
  • Your diabetes nerve condition is stage 3 or less
  • Your ABI (ankle-brachial index) is below 0.9
  • You likely do not have very high blood sugar over time (HbA1c 10% or lower), major uncontrolled mental/cognitive issues, or active infections
