Who can take part
- You are 18 years old or older.
- You are scheduled to have a planned (not emergency) coronary artery bypass graft (heart bypass) surgery.
- You are awake, alert, and able to follow instructions.
- You do not have a diagnosed sleep disorder, do not regularly take sleep medicine, and do not usually wear an eye mask to sleep.
- You are able to wear an eye mask safely (no severe vision problems, or eye, face, or skin conditions that would make it uncomfortable).
- You can communicate in Turkish and are willing to provide written consent to participate.
