Who can take part
- Your child was born with HIE (any severity) and took part in one of seven studies at Cork University Maternity Hospital between 2013 and 2020.
- You gave permission for your child's study data to be used in future related research and for the team to contact you again.
- Your child is still alive and does not have a congenital malformation or genetic syndrome.
- If your child is a control (no HIE), they were born at 36 weeks or later, attend mainstream primary school with no developmental diagnosis, had no HIE or birth asphyxia, no NICU admission within 12 hours of birth, and no ongoing developmental clinic visits.
