Who can take part

  • You were diagnosed with one of these vasculitis types: giant cell arteritis, Takayasu’s, polyarteritis nodosa, GPA/MPA, or Churg-Strauss
  • If you have giant cell arteritis, you started symptoms after age 50 and tests like ESR and biopsy/artery findings fit
  • If you have Takayasu’s, you started symptoms before age 50 and your symptoms/tests fit the required pattern
  • If you have polyarteritis nodosa, GPA/MPA, or Churg-Strauss, your diagnosis fits the study’s accepted criteria (often using blood, imaging, and/or biopsy)
  • You can sign informed consent and give a blood sample for DNA testing
