Who can take part
- You are over 18 years old
- You have type 1 or type 2 diabetes and your recent HbA1c is under 10%
- You have a diabetic foot ulcer caused by nerve problems (neuropathic) or nerve+reduced blood flow (neuro-ischemic)
- Your ulcer is a Wagner grade 1–2 and its size is 1 to 15 square centimeters at the start
- You’ve been getting proper wound care for at least 4 weeks, including wound cleaning (debridement) and pressure offloading
- You can use an offloading method for your foot (such as special footwear/casting) and you are not pregnant or breastfeeding
