Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 85 years old.
  • You have a diabetic foot ulcer on the bottom or heel, between 1 and 25 square centimeters in size.
  • You have diabetes with an HbA1c level between 6.5% and 12%.
  • You do not have an active infection, bone infection (osteomyelitis), or other serious foot conditions.
  • You are able to walk (with or without assistance).
  • You have adequate blood flow to the foot, as confirmed by a doctor's test.
