Who can take part
- Aged 18 to under 75 years
- Had a stroke about 3 months ago, and your overall disability score is 2 or less
- You must be in a social security health coverage program
- You can sign consent, and you’re able to return to the hospital for follow-up visits (at least two)
- You cannot take certain medicines that can interfere with the PET scan (especially specific heart/brain/anti-allergy and “brain chemical” medications)
- You must be able to have MRI and PET scan procedures (no MRI/PET allergy or contraindications)
