Who can take part

  • You are having elective (planned) aorto-bifemoral bypass surgery
  • Your surgery is for aneurysm or for Leriche syndrome (blockage affecting the leg arteries)
  • Your surgery is not urgent or emergency surgery
  • Your bypass will not use a deep vein graft
  • This is not a repeat operation on the same bypass site
  • You do not already have obstructive sleep apnea treated with CPAP
