Who can take part
- You are 18 or older and admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU)
- Your care team expects you will stay in the ICU for more than 48 hours
- You have signs of ICU delirium, with an ICDSC score of 4 or higher within the last 48 hours
- You have not taken melatonin in the past 24 hours
- You do not have allergy or known sensitivity to melatonin or the study medicine ingredients
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and you can use enteral medicines (through a tube or by mouth)
