This Phase 2 study tests a medicine that affects “adenosine” signaling along with an immune checkpoint inhibitor (immunotherapy) in men with hormone-sensitive prostate cancer that has spread in only a small, limited way. It aims to stop or slow that limited spread by helping the immune system work better.

Who can take part

  • You have prostate cancer confirmed by biopsy (adenocarcinoma).
  • Your main prostate tumor was treated with surgery and/or radiation, and hormone therapy (ADT) is allowed if it was used appropriately in the past.
  • You have 1–3 cancer spots that are found in bone or soft tissue, not symptoms, and they are small (under given size limits) and appeared within the last 6 months.
  • Your PSA level is above 0.5 and below 50, and your PSA has been rising relatively fast (PSA doubling time under 15 months).
  • Your testosterone level is above the study’s cutoff (over 125 ng/mL), and you can do study visits and scans (ECOG 0–2).
  • Blood tests and organ function must be adequate, and you have an expected survival of more than 12 months.
