Testing balloon size for lung pressure measurement in children

  • On a breathing machine (ventilator) with stable settings for at least 2 hours
  • Parent or guardian has signed a consent form
  • Doctor recommends placing a small tube in the esophagus (throat) to measure pressure
  • Not currently in another research study (within the last 30 days)
  • Not been in this study before for a previous breathing problem
