Who can take part
- You have been diagnosed with a long-term (at least 6 months) type of neutropenia that is not caused by medicines, recent infections, or cancer.
- Your neutrophil count (a type of white blood cell) is below 1000 cells per microliter of blood.
- In the past year, you have had at least 2 infections that needed antibiotics or a visit to a doctor or hospital, and your doctor thinks these infections are linked to your neutropenia.
- If you are using a growth factor medicine like G-CSF (a drug to raise neutrophil counts), you must have been on a stable dose for at least 4 weeks and be willing to stay on that dose during the study (unless your counts get too high).
