Who can take part
- You must be between 18 and 80 years old.
- You have a diagnosis of spinal cord injury, brainstem stroke, muscular dystrophy, ALS, or similar motor neuron condition.
- You have complete or partial paralysis of all four limbs (tetraplegia).
- You live within a 3-hour drive of the study site and can stay nearby for at least 15 months.
- You are not currently taking steroids or medications that suppress your immune system.
