  • You must be a veteran and be receiving care through the study at the VA.
  • You likely have tetraplegia, meaning paralysis affecting both arms and both legs.
  • You likely have trouble speaking (anarthria), with little or no functional ability to use your body to communicate.
  • You must meet the study’s detailed technical and safety rules for the brain-signal device.
