Vibrating hand device for muscle stiffness after spinal cord injury

Who can take part

  • You must be 18 or older.
  • Your spinal cord injury is at a level between C1 and T1 (in the neck or upper back) and is classified as ASIA C or D (incomplete injury).
  • You have had the injury for at least one year.
  • You have moderate to severe spasticity (stiffness or muscle tightness) in your arms or hands.
  • You are comfortable using a computer, email, and the internet for virtual check-ins.
  • You are willing to temporarily stop taking certain medications that affect spasticity or brain activity during study visits.
