Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with brain metastases from any type of cancer.
  • You are scheduled to receive whole brain radiation therapy (including a type that avoids the memory area).
  • You will not be taking other anti-cancer drugs during the 10 days of radiation (you may take memantine).
  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You can consent for yourself and are not in the hospital at the start of treatment.
