Brain network study in ALS with emotional outbursts

Amyotrophic Lateral SclerosisPseudobulbar Affect

Who can take part

  • You were diagnosed with ALS in the last 6 months.
  • You can answer questions on your own or with help (e.g., using a computer or talking on the phone).
  • You are not pregnant, and do not have substance or alcohol addiction.
  • You do not have other neurological conditions like stroke, epilepsy, or dementia.
  • You are not currently taking antidepressants or antipsychotics.
  • You are able to have an MRI and MEG scan safely.
