Who can take part
- You are between 50 and 75 years old
- You are either a patient with one of the conditions listed (like frontotemporal dementia, primary progressive aphasia, corticobasal degeneration, progressive supranuclear palsy, or ALS) or a healthy volunteer
- If you are a patient, your MMSE score is 18 or higher; if you are a healthy volunteer, your MoCA score is 26 or higher
- You do not have conditions that affect the nerves (like diabetes, kidney failure, thyroid disorder, vitamin B12 deficiency, HIV, or syphilis)
- You are not allergic to local anesthetic and do not have a bleeding disorder
- You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or under legal guardianship
