Who can take part
- You must be between 20 and 80 years old.
- Your brain bleed must be in the thalamus or basal ganglia (deep brain areas).
- The bleed must be small (less than 15 ml) and you must have been admitted to the hospital within 24 hours of your symptoms starting.
- Your blood counts, liver function, kidney function, and blood clotting must be normal.
- You must not be taking blood thinners like aspirin, clopidogrel, or warfarin when the bleed happened.
