Celecoxib for brain bleeding after onset

Who can take part

  • You were diagnosed with intracerebral hemorrhage (brain bleeding) and can start the first dose within 6 hours of symptom onset
  • The bleeding location is in the basal ganglion or thalamus
  • The bleed size is under 30 mL
  • You have kidney function in the normal range (creatinine 1.3 mg/dL or less)
  • You do not need surgery for this bleeding, and a doctor says surgery is not indicated
  • You can give consent (or your legal representative can), and you’re age 20–80
