Who can take part
- You are 18 or older.
- You have a blockage in the vertebrobasilar artery (a blood vessel at the back of your neck and brain), confirmed by scans like CT or MRI.
- Your stroke symptoms started more than 24 hours ago.
- Before this stroke, you had little or no disability (able to walk and look after yourself).
- Your brain scan does not show any bleeding.
- You do not have a serious, advanced, or terminal illness.
