  • You are already enrolled in the EXCEL Registry (a research study).
  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have been on ECMO for 12 hours or less.
  • You are not pregnant or planning to become pregnant.
  • You are not listed for a solid organ transplant that hasn't happened yet.
