Who can take part

  • You must be between 18 and 55 years old
  • You must have a current alcohol use disorder (AUD) diagnosis
  • If you are currently drinking, you must be willing to enter inpatient treatment for up to 30 days at no cost
  • If you have been sober for 3 months or more, you do not need to go inpatient
  • You must be able to read and fill out forms in English
  • You cannot have any metal implants (like a pacemaker) or be claustrophobic, since the study includes an MRI scan
