Who can take part
- You are on a breathing machine (ventilator).
- You have ARDS that hasn't gotten better after at least 5 days, with low oxygen, high breathing support, or stiff lungs.
- Your doctor says it's safe for you to be moved for a special scan.
- You or your legal representative have signed a consent form.
- If you have COVID-19, your last test must show very low virus levels.
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
