Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 60 years old.
  • You are having general anesthesia with a breathing tube placed through your mouth.
  • You are at low risk for anesthesia (ASA class 1 or 2).
  • You do not have limited mouth opening or jaw movement.
  • You do not have growths on your vocal cords or an unusual voice box shape.
