Neuromyelitis Optica Spectrum Disorders (NMOSD)

This study looks at how well satralizumab works in people with NMOSD (a rare disorder that affects the nerves in your eyes and spine). It is for people who have had recent flare-ups and test positive for a specific antibody (AQP4). You will receive satralizumab and be followed for at least one year to see if your disease stays under control.

Who can take part

  • You must be 12 years or older.
  • You have NMOSD and a positive blood test for AQP4 antibodies.
  • Your disability level (EDSS score) must be 8.5 or lower at the start of the study.
  • You have had at least 1 NMOSD flare-up in the last year, or at least 2 in the last 2 years.
  • You and your doctor plan to use satralizumab (a self-injected medication) for at least one year.
