Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • You must have a brain bleed (intracranial hemorrhage) confirmed by a brain scan within 48 hours of your first symptoms.
  • You or a family member must be able to sign a consent form to allow you to participate.
  • You should not have a serious, uncontrolled heart condition (like a recent heart attack or heart failure).
  • You should not have had heart surgery or a stent placed in the last 6 months.
  • You cannot have an active brain tumor, a recent stroke (within 3 months), or a previous brain injury that could interfere with the study.
