Who can take part

  • Aged between 2 months and 18 years old at the time of switching to oral antibiotics.
  • Diagnosed with an infection in bones or joints (osteomyelitis or septic arthritis) or a head/neck infection (like abscess or mastoiditis).
  • Infection is caused by MRSA bacteria or is treated as if it might be MRSA.
  • Ready to stop IV antibiotics and start taking oral (by mouth) antibiotics.
  • Symptoms of infection started less than 14 days before you were admitted to the hospital.
