Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You have been diagnosed with high blood pressure and are currently taking two blood pressure medicines at stable doses for at least 4 weeks.
- Your blood pressure is still high: systolic (top number) between 140 and 179 mmHg and diastolic (bottom number) between 90 and 110 mmHg at the clinic visit.
- You are willing to wear a 24-hour blood pressure monitor to confirm your blood pressure is high during daily life.
- You are not pregnant, not breastfeeding, and if you could become pregnant, you agree to use effective birth control during the study.
- You do not have certain health conditions like recent heart attack, stroke, severe kidney disease, or uncontrolled diabetes.
