Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You have been diagnosed with paroxysmal (comes and goes) or persistent (lasts longer) atrial fibrillation.
- Your doctor has recommended a pulmonary vein isolation procedure.
- You have never had a catheter ablation for AFib or any scar-making procedure in the left atrium.
- You are not severely frail, have a life expectancy longer than 1 year, and are not pregnant or planning pregnancy.
