Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 80 years old.
  • You have end-stage kidney disease and have been on hemodialysis for at least 16 weeks.
  • Your hemoglobin levels have been between 7.0 and 10.0 g/dL in your last two checks.
  • You have not used or have stopped taking erythropoiesis-stimulating agents or roxadustat.
  • You have an internal fistula or long-term dialysis catheter.
  • Your weight is between 45 and 100 kg.
  • You have been diagnosed with sarcopenia: low grip strength and low muscle mass as measured by a body composition test.
