Who can take part
- You are between 10 and 17 years old.
- You are scheduled for scoliosis surgery on your back (posterior spinal fusion) under general anesthesia.
- You are in good general health (ASA class I to III).
- You and your parent or guardian agree to join the study and sign a consent form.
- You do not have severe breathing problems, heart disease, or other major health issues.
- You have not been taking strong painkillers (opioids) regularly or any pain medicine within 2 days before surgery.
