Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 80 years old.
  • You are currently in the ICU and expected to stay for at least 24 hours.
  • You have severe confusion (delirium) with agitation, as assessed by standard ICU tests.
  • You are receiving non-invasive breathing support (like high-flow oxygen or a CPAP mask) for more than 24 hours.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You have no history of epilepsy, severe heart rhythm problems, or very poor liver or kidney function.
