Hyperbaric oxygen therapy for post-stroke depression
Part of Mental health clinical trials.
This study tests if breathing pure oxygen in a special chamber (hyperbaric oxygen therapy) can help people who have been depressed since having a stroke. It may offer a new way to treat depression that hasn't improved with standard medications.

This study tests whether hyperbaric oxygen therapy (breathing pure oxygen in a pressurized chamber) can help people recover after a recent ischemic stroke. It is open to stroke survivors admitted to Touro's inpatient rehab unit.
This trial tests if hyperbaric oxygen therapy (breathing pure oxygen in a pressurized chamber) can help people recover better after having a stroke caused by a large clot in the front part of the brain. It is for people who recently had a clot removal procedure and have some remaining disability but are still awake and aware.
This trial tests whether hyperbaric oxygen therapy (breathing pure oxygen in a pressurized chamber) can improve thinking, mood, and quality of life in veterans with mild traumatic brain injury, PTSD, anxiety, or depression.
