Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older
- You have been diagnosed with one of the listed neuromuscular conditions (like ALS, post-polio syndrome, or certain muscular dystrophies)
- You can stand for about 15 minutes continuously, with or without a walker or cane
- You have at least some muscle strength against gravity (e.g., able to lift your arm or leg against gravity)
- You have medical clearance from your doctor to exercise
- You do not have a pacemaker, metal implants, or other implanted devices that could be affected by electrical stimulation
