Who can take part

  • You have a brain tumor in the upper part of your brain that needs surgery
  • You are in generally good health (American Society of Anesthesiologists class I, II, or III)
  • You do not have a severe allergy to ulinastatin
  • Your liver and kidneys work well enough (not in Child-Pugh class C or with very low kidney function)
  • You do not have a severe bleeding disorder
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding
