Who can take part
- Age 18–80 years
- Recent diagnosis of symptomatic atrial fibrillation (paroxysmal or persistent, less than 5 years), scheduled for first-time catheter ablation
- Overweight or obese (BMI ≥24 kg/m² with a related health condition, or BMI ≥28 kg/m²)
- Heart function showing left ventricular ejection fraction ≥50% on recent echocardiogram (within 30 days)
